Make the most of our local knowledge and get the most out of your time in the area, use these itineraries as a flexible starting point for your own journey in Okumikawa.
Each model itinerary is a sample that you can adjust as you need, with guided tours, experiences, accommodation, food, and attractions that you can swap out as you like. Some things can be booked without us, so feel free to just use us for the guided tours we're known for!
These itineraries are not package tours, so after contacting us about an itinerary, or after checking out with tour/booking requests in your cart, we'll work with you to finish designing your tour.

Mysterious Mountain Matsuri
Learn moreHanamatsuri dates back to the times of roaming mountain monks sharing ceremonies with locals as they passed through the area. Over a weekend, 13 and 14 Dec 2025, see two notable versions of this festival, one considered the origin of Hanamatsuri, and the other the most "recent" of the Hanamatsuri. Immerse yourself in deep mountain culture and ancient mountain spirituality on this active itinerary.
