About the experience

On this experience you can enjoy one of the classic family traditions of Central Japan, making and grilling "gohei mochi" snacks over charcoal. We run this experience at our house in a charming mountain village, sharing our village's particular size and recipe for gohei mochi. First we'll prepare our gohei mochi, then grill them, finally enjoying the red miso taste with a selection of toppings to create your own unique flavour.

Making gohei mochi is a classic family activity, so we especially recommend this experience if you're travelling with kids!
